Amazon Prime Video adds CNN Brasil as the platform’s first live channel

The streaming service war in Brazil is still intense and companies are betting more and more on increasing their catalog. In this sense, the Amazon Prime Video announced the arrival of the country’s first live channel. THE CNN Brazil is already available in the catalog since last Tuesday (25). The announcement took place via social media streaming.

CNN Brasil is available to Amazon Prime subscribers at no additional cost. To watch the channel, just go to the “Live” tab in the app. The tab was recently created on Prime Video to unify all of the platform’s real-time content.

Prime Video is in the fight to strengthen its service, to compete with rivals in Brazil. It should be remembered that the company has a partnership with Globo to exclusively broadcast Copa do Brasil games and recently purchased a package to also exclusively broadcast NBA games.

CNN Brasil is available to watch on Prime Video for smart TVs, Android, iOS and Windows.

Over 100 NBA games

Amazon Prime Video last week announced a partnership with the NBA to stream more than 100 games from the 2022/2023 season on the streaming platform. Up to 87 regular season 22/23 games are broadcast, in addition to 24 playoff games. The matches will be broadcast live and will be four weekly matches, always on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Amazon Prime Video joins the NBA broadcast team here in Brazil and will bring more than just the games of the North American basketball season.
